Michael Picarella, has at one time, worked two jobs, attended school full–time and made movies simultan-eously. He has found the true value of being a Punchcard Player.

A storyteller in many forms of media, Mr. Picarella's film experience includes writing and directing feature length movies "Punchcard Player" and "1 2 3," and producing, writing, directing and editing several short films; his corporate video experience includes writing for the Boys and Girls Club and United Religions Initiative; as a journalist, Mr. Picarella has covered President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, actor/director/ producer Rob Reiner, comedian/actor Jamie Kennedy, actor Danny Glover, blues performer B.B. King and many other notable figures. Mr. Picarella's writing –– including narrative short stories and his humor column "Family Men Don't Wear Name Brands" –– has been published in various national media outlets, including the Drudge Report.

Additionally, Mr. Picarella has worked on a number of feature length films including "The Italian Job" with Mark Wahlberg, "Scenes of the Crime" with Jeff Bridges and "Mrs. Santa Claus" with Angela Lansbury.

Mr. Picarella was also co–founder and editor of The Scene, a monthly arts and entertainment magazine, and was a co–creator, writer and director on "The Scene TV," an arts and entertainment television show.

Mr. Picarella received a degree in Motion Pictures and Video from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

While busy at work on several projects at the same time in true form of a Punchcard Player, Mr. Picarella became co–creator of the 90–minute nap, a sleeping method that allows the human body to fully recover after a complete day of work –– any more sleep or any less sleep would require that the body get a full night's rest.
